Velocity Hiring Platform
RecruitTech processed 3,000+ applicants per month for enterprise clients with a team of six recruiters. Each recruiter spent four hours per day reading resumes and writing outreach emails. Quality varied significantly between team members, and top candidates were often lost to slower competitors who reached them first.
We built a screening pipeline that used OpenAI function-calling to extract structured attributes from unstructured resumes, then scored each applicant against a configurable rubric defined by the client. Shortlisted candidates received personalized outreach emails drafted by the AI and reviewed by a recruiter in a one-click approval UI. The platform tracked response rates and used them to iteratively improve both scoring weights and email templates.
Recruiter time spent on initial screening fell from four hours to 45 minutes per day. Time-to-hire dropped 60% as shortlists reached clients two days faster on average. Candidate quality scores — as rated by hiring managers post-placement — improved by 22%. The platform now manages over 5,000 monthly applications with the same six-person team.
